Modular Website Platform – Release Notes 2.0.8

Our latest release brings you a refreshed Inventory Vehicle Details Page design, Price Per Week functionality for inventory, the option to list your dealership address in website header, new header layout options and much more!

Inventory Vehicle Details Pages

We have introduced a brand new, refreshed Inventory Vehicle Details Page design following a thorough conversation with our customers into what information and functions they require to generate the highest number of leads directly from their Vehicle Detail Pages.


The refreshed Vehicle Detail Page design has been implemented to:

  • Improve the user experience (UX) on all devices. including computer, mobile and tablet, with a particular focus on mobile
  • Provide users with more information about the car – Refuel Estimates + Estimated Range
  • Reorder the information on the page based on what customers want (data + research)
  • Clean up the design to bring it into line with the improved Simple Search UI released in a previous iteration

Price Per Week

The new Price Per Week functionality has been introduced to the Modular Platform which allows your customers to view an automatically calculated a weekly repayment price for all listed vehicles on your dealership website.


To activate the Price Per Week functionality, simply complete the following steps:

Step 1: Select Website Settings and then select Inventory Search Repayment Calculator.

Step 2: Click on the toggle for Enable Weekly Repayments and enter field information for Interest Rate, Term in Months, Deposit Type and Deposit Amount as per your dealership terms and conditions.

Step 3: There is an option to exclude selected vehicles from displaying the Price Per Week functionality based on their age. To do so, simply enter the Maximum Age of Vehicle (in years) in the Exclusions section and select Save Changes.

Step 4: A preview will appear which includes a calculation of the price per week and Disclaimer using a field merge from the information provided in Step 1, 2 & 3.

Step 5: Review the Price Per Week and Disclaimer Preview. Once you are happy with the information displayed, select Publish to Website.

Step 6: Congratulations! The Price Per Week functionality is now live across your website inventory. All vehicles with a price and within the age requirements outlined in Step 3 will display Price Per Week and the disclaimer.


Address in Website Headers

You may now list your physical dealership address is the header of your website. This is automatically linked to the Contact Us page. When the address is selected, it will link the user to either the Map or Location on the Contact Us Page.


New Header Layout ‘Standard – Logo Left – Full Width Nav’

A new Header Layout has been created with a Full-Width Main Menu Navigation Bar. Independent and Corporate customers have thee functionality to customise colours within the Header Layout to meet their brand guidelines. As for OEM customers, the Header Layout colour scheme will automatically apply the correct colour settings to suit your OEM guidelines.



Inventory Module – Background Image Options

Previously, whilst the Simple Search module allowed for customer background images to be applied, the Inventory module, when configured to a ‘Search’ landing page, did not have this option.

This functionality has now been made available to the Inventory module:


New ‘Generic’ Banner Images

New banner images have been uploaded to the Content Library, suitable for a range of pages including:

  • Service
  • Parts
  • Careers
  • Finance
  • Warranty
  • Contact Us

Browse through Content Library now via a Banner module to see the full range.


Privacy Policy in Inventory Enquiry Forms

All Inventory Enquiry Forms have now been updated, so that when a Privacy Policy is configured to display on the website it will automatically display on Inventory Enquiry Forms.  Previously, this required configuration assistance from the Customer Experience Team.


Bug Fixes

General bug fixes and patches to improve existing functionality across the platform.
