Inventory Management – October Release Notes

What’s new in Inventory Management on our new Dashboard in October?

This release outlines the new features that we have introduced on Dashboard V3. Continue reading to learn all about our photo improvements available under the Photos Tab, how you can now add and store PDFs and Vehicle Preparation Forms as attachments to a specific vehicle, as well as, being able to search by VIN thanks to our new and extended search capability.

Photo Maintenance

In the Photos Tab on Dashboard v3, you can now perform the following actions:


Shuffle Photo Order

You can change the order of your images by drag and drop functionality on desktop and tablet.


To shuffle the photo order, please complete the following steps: 

Step 1: Click and hold on the photo you wish to move and drag it to the position you desire

Step 2: Repeat Step 1 to as many images as required

Step 3: Select Save Changes in the top right corner


Rotate Photos

You can also now rotate photos directly in the Photos Tab.


To rotate an image on Dashboard v3, please complete the following steps: 

Step 1: You can rotate any image by 90° at a time. Simply click the rotate button to change the direction of the image.

Step 2: Repeat Step 1 until your image is in the desired position.

Step 3: You may repeat Step 1 and 2 until you have rotated all the images you require, then select Save Changes.



You now have the ability to add and remove attachments on a vehicle in the Attachments Tab. There are various attachment types supported on Dashboard v3, including PDFs and Vehicle Preparation Forms, allowing you to upload relevant documents to your inventory.


Adding an attachment is easy! Simply complete the following steps: 

Step 1: Click on the Add Attachment button and select the attachment type.

Step 2: Choose the relevant file from your documents using the file explorer window.

Step 3: Once an attachment has been added to a vehicle, the file name will be listed in the grid. You can view the attachment at any time by selecting the file name.


Search by VIN

We have extended the search capability to include partial search on VIN so that you can quickly identify the vehicle you want in your inventory list.
